We had a nice normal and very enjoyable Thanksgiving!
My Aunt hosted and all was delicious as usual!
The kids did great, ate a bunch of food ( well Tyson did Winni doesn't eat hardly ever)
You may wondering where Tyson's shirt is? Well it was so cute for Thanksgiving I didn't want to take it off when he ate and well it basically got detroyed as he ate so he remained shirtless the rest of the day. But with a belly like that who can blame him? :)
And our Thanksgiving 2012 Picture
It actually made me laugh I asked my sister to take a quick picture of us and of course no baby was really cooperative for said picture so we gave Tyson a popsicle I picked Winni up in a silly way and BOOM there ya go family photo. My sister apologized because this was the best she got LOL I said I think its perfect it is our reality right now!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!
Since I am still catching up on soooo much blogging I am now just blogging about the super fun Annual Harvest Party we went to!
Every year my friend Melissa ( who is seriously the Martha Stewart of party planning!) throws a wonderful Harvest Party for the kids! She has food treats games pinata dessert and more!
Tyson's first debut in his costume. He was pretty happy about it!
Ready to go inside
Since I had 2 costumes for Winni she wanted to wear her raccoon costume this day and she was so warm and fuzzy all the kids wanted to pet her!
Eating some yummy pizza!
Game time!
Fishing!
Melissa did this amazing huge chalkboard in her backyard! And see how crafty she is with the drawing and everything!
Tyson got to play too!
Pinata Time
We had such a wonderful time ! Thakn you Melissa for hosting such fun time ! We hope to be there many many years to come!
We have found the most wonderful preschool for Winni and I seriously can not express how thankful I am for her school and the teachers and everything!
On Halloween because they are a Lutheran school that does not celebrate Halloween they did a wonderful Silly Hat Parade for the kids!
The previous week the kids had painted oversized coffee filters and then on Halloween they taped them around the kids heads and the parents got to come in and decorate the hats with the kids before the parade. I was pretty bummed because my good camera had been left on in my car so the battery was dead bu I did get some pictures on my phone.
Making her hat
Ta Da!
It was so sweet to just have that time with Winni loving on her and spending special time with her.
One thing we have been kind of ...I guess struggling with Winni is her feeling very insecure when I am not around. She has this fear that I am not coming back and constantly has this desire to be very close to me and around me at all times. So once I got to her school she wouldn't let me leave her side.
It was time for the kids to line up for the parade while the parents went outside and as you can see from this video Winni pretty much just wanted Mama but once I marched around with her she cheered up a bit and had a great afternoon.
Oh man isn't she a hoot!
After the parade we enjoyed some yummy cupcakes efore heading home to get ready for Trick or Treating !
I was so not good at keeping up as well on his monthly pictures and mile stones and I know it is so beyond time to update how my little man is doing!
Well quite simply amazing!
I ave fallen more and more deeply in love with him every single day!
While he is still not walking ( 15 months next week) he is finally starting to stand and actually try to walk! You see he does this little bear crawl and is so darn fast he doesn't see the need to walk at all! My arms have gotten quite buff as he is such a BIG boy and I am still carrying him every where but I am hopeful he will be walking before Thanksgiving.
Tyson is into everything. I think way worse than Winni was but you leave him in a room and come back 5 seconds later and it is literally destroyed! He opens every drawer, every cabinet and loves to just throw everything out.
Tyson has the most beautiful spirit. He is always happy and always smiling and waving and just the sweetest most outgoing baby I have ever seen. of course I am bias because he is mine but seriously you can ask anyone and they will tell you he is always smiling which is true!
He absolutely loves his sister now. Winni is so into picking him up lately and carrying him around so now he knows when he wants something or needs something he will crawl over to her so she will lift him up. Mind you she only weighs about 6 lbs more than him but she loves to carry him around and help lift him up so he can reach something on the counter.
His vocabulary is amazing. He is already repeating so many words and actually speaks pretty clearly. This is a cute little video of him saying " purple and its just a small example of his words but seriously he has so many words already! Mama, dada, papa, sissy, more, hot, purple and then some. He uses it in context too! The other day I gave him some pizza and he said " hhhhot" and sure enough he was right on! He is so insanely smart!
He has the biggest best eyes and his smile is simply magical.
Having 2 babies less than 2 years apart was far harder than I ever ever EVER thought it would be and I know Tyson often gets the short end of that stick but he completed my in ways I never knew I needed. I love him so much and am so thankful to have the best son and daughter any mother could ever hope for!
