" I believe you have poly cystic ovarian syndrome, better known as PCOS" the Dr. told me.
It wasn't to much of a surprise as I had done a lot of research myself and pretty much figured it out. Many people have no idea what it is so if you follow this link you can read all about it.
Simply stated though, instead of ovulating each month, the egg turns into a cyst. No egg, no chance of baby.
Luckily though it is very treatable in terms of being able to conceive. Most women actually do conceive on their own with no treatment. The next way most women conceive is using oral medication such as Clomid which causes one to ovulate and thus hopefully get pregnant. Beyond that is I.U.I. and I.V.F.
We hope the journey to conception is a short one for us, but either way we're ready for the ride.

Hi--I just recently discovered your blog. When you say you already suspected you have PCOS--what made you suspect that you did? What were your symptoms?
