What a wonderful day to take time and remember all the things around us to be thankful for. For my family, my friends, the beautiful day, my amazing husband, a place to live and food to eat. And also for my struggles. This is something I often forget to be thankful for but going through this I try to look at struggles in a new light. As a lesson, a time to truely draw near to the Lord and put ALL my trust into Him. To just give it to God and trust His ultimate plan for my life. Psalm 55:22 tells us " Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken." So if I am shaken it isn't because of the Lord, it is because of me! The Bible tells us also " Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart" Psalm 37:4. The Lord knows my heart, in fact he placed this overwhelming desire to be a mother in my heart! He knows perfectly what He is doing and in His timing a baby will bless our life!
On Thanksgiving day when thinking of all the wonderful things I have to be thankful for the thing I am most thankful for is the unending love of our Lord. I am thankful to know that He is in control and in Him will I trust.
