My First Blog Award! By Two People!

I feel so lucky that I received the Honest Scrap award from not one but two fellow bloggers! Thank you " Bottoms off and on the Table" as well as " Mrs. Olsen"

Here are the rules:

1) Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design.

2) Show the 7 winners names and links on your blog, and leave a comment informing them that they were prized with "Honest Scrap." Well, there's no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon.

3) List at least 10 honest things about yourself.

1) I tape every episode of " I Love Lucy", " Three's Company", " and "The Brady Bunch" something about those old time goodies that I can't resist. In fact every night my mind is wandering as I try to fall asleep I turn on Lucy and fall asleep to the crazy red head :)

2) Even though my RE, my acupuncturist, my husband, my family, my cousins and friends tell me I am going to have a baby one day, I secretly fear I might never have one. No one can reassure me and make me feel better until I am holding our little one in my arms.

3) I hate school but I'm going because I feel like my life would always be incomplete without my college degree. Now what I want to do with it is another question. I completely understand people who don't care about college and admire those who achieve the great jobs without it. Just for myself personally, my goals of life will be a little more complete when I hear them call my name on graduation day.

4) I want to go to Australia more than I can say. I would love to go for like 3 months and explore the whole country.

5) I often think I should have been a house wife in the 50's. While feminist may hate me for saying that I admire the life of June Cleaver. I would love dressing up every day just to stay home and provide a loving environment for my husband and children. I'd cook the most elaborate of meals, vacuum in my high heels, and bring my husband his slippers at night.

6) When my husband and I hopefully do find out were pregnant we have had names picked out forever. A little boy would be Jack James which has family significance. Jack is my dad's dad who went MIA in the Korean war and James is my mom's dad. And we plan on calling him JJ. If we have a little girl we have decided to drive everyone crazy and keep the name to ourselves. I just love the baby girl name we have picked out and fear it becoming popular before we have our baby girl. So I keep my lips tightly sealed.

7) As much as I used to dread Sundays because Monday soon followed, I love waking up Sunday mornings to go to church. It starts off my week on such an amazing note. Every week I am amazed by the music, the message, and the love that God fills me with.

8) On that note ( and to each his own) I don't understand atheism. Every time I watch a show like Planet Earth I can't imagine God not existing. the icebergs, the deserts, the deep oceans, all miraculous amazing things that I believe GOD made! When I think of the true miracle of life, of conception, and birth, I can't imagine anyone who would not think that is God given.

9) Every time someone I know gets pregnant, I cry a little inside. I'm working on this really I am.

10) My husband is the kindest most loving amazing person in this world. He is my best friend, my everything and I never could have imagined my husband would be such a perfect person for me.

3) Kitty : Who is 8 weeks pregnant and oh so sweet! YEAH!!!!

4) Ashlyn : This wonderful high school friend of mine has the cutest blog ever and recently opened up her own Event Planning Company!

5) The Life of Abigail: I randomly stumbled upon her amazingly cute blog one day and we were instant IRL friends! She's the cutest and sweetest!

6) Right Aligned Mind: I think if we lived close to one another we would be great friends!

7) Melissa: So kind and so positive! Posts some of the cutest blogs ever!

BTW Every blog I follow deserves an award, rather its a family blog, a IF blog, a pregnancy blog or whatever I am amazed by the strength of so many women in this world and feel so honored to be able to follow their lives through blogging!
