3 in 1

For some reason I don't like posting more than one post a day so I just shove 3 completely different and random things into one and some how think it's better this way...Please don't ask ;)

1) Wondering who I went with to print our profiles? The winner is...Kin.ko's! And ready for better news? They matched the $150 price!!! Those suckers were gonna be making a HUGE profit off us at $300+ and now I'm sure there still making a plenty good profit off our $150. But I am so happy they matched it as they easily had the BEST print quality. Ready for some even BETTER than "Kin.ko's matching the price" news? My mom and step-dad so generously or should I say SO GENEROUSLY offered to pay for our profiles to be printed! This was such a wonderful HUGE gift and we are so thankful for their offer! In adoption every penny counts and not having to spend those 15,000 pennies to print our profiles is such a blessing! Thank you Mom & Step Dad so much for such an amazing gift ! We love you and are so thankful!

2) Another wonderful little adoption blessing came in the form of a book today! My dad bought us a wonderful little memory book. I always see my friends with their babies making these cute little books and I always wanted to find one that was catered to adoption and today I did! So my dad bought us our first of many photo/memory books for Baby "W"! Thank you dad! Hopefully we will get to fill those pages any day now :)

The Book

3) And a quick weekend recap. Hubby was off on Friday and we had a nice day, caught a movie, made our deal of the year at Kin.ko's, and came home filled with excitement for being one step closer to baby. Saturday night my dad treated us to a local semi-pro club soccer team. It was an awesome game! Couldn't have asked for more! Game tied at 1-1, final minutes of the game and the home team scores and the crowd goes crazy! It was an awesome night!

Me and Dad at the game ( ignore the chin I only lost 3 lbs so it's not gone yet )

So there's my 3 in 1 post for today :) And to leave you with some pictures this is me trying to get a nice picture of me and Greg while at the soccer game.

I always look at myself in pictures first. I am so critical of how I look in pictures so I was like cool I like this picture then I look at Greg giving his goofy face...OK try again!

Then another picture of Greg now giving his pirate face!

So I tried to catch him smiling off guard and cut myself out of the picture!

Now his silly angry face and me finishing a blink....Oh my I'm done trying!

Happy Monday!

Cute post. What a blessing to have parents who are so generous to help you out with your adoption expenses. When we started testing about a year ago my Mom gave me a envelope with 200$ in it and said it was to get things rolling with the tests. I burst into tears. She had no idea how much that money meant to us. Even though it was just the cost of seeing the IF specialist it was soooo much to us. In the end we didnt need him but through that visit and the diagnosis of the doctor saying we wouldnt conceive on our own God was shown bigger then any problem and to me that is priceless. ((HUGS))

Wonderful news - I am so glad Kinko's matched the price and you were able to get the better print quality.

Thanks for sharing about the baby book - I didn't know they had them specifically designed for adoption. I want one too!

Yea for a GREAT deal, and an even better Yea for sweet parents!!! Moms and step-dads are the BEST!!! (I'm crazy about mine!) But the BEST YEA...that you're one step closer to baby!!!!

And what a sweet Dad you have! I love your baby book!!! We bought a book from Hall.mark that had adoption pages to add in to take the place of pregnancy pages.

I think it's great that your parents are so supportive of your adoption process!!

You guys are so cute!! ;)
