One month ago at this very moment we were sitting in a large room at the hospital with a nurse near by getting to know our precious girl. The joy we felt was immeasurable, the whole experience surreal. I could have never imagined that being us, I pinched myself thinking I would wake up from this wonderful perfect dream yet here we are one month later our perfect baby home by our side and celebrating her one month birthday.
It's been the most amazing month of our lives. The happiness Faith has brought us is indescribable and unlike any joy we could have ever known. Her morning smiles,, her silly little monster noises, the way she loves being snuggled so tightly, and the way she stares at us and knows we are mommy and daddy... its a feeling that warms your heart unlike anything else in this world.
In 1 month so much has changed. She smiles real smiles at us, trust me its not just gas :) She stretches and stretches and then makes this cute little howling face like she's howling at the moon. She loves her swing and her new super pink play gym. She loves being outside and gets a hypnotic look on her face when you swaddle her. She's amazing and perfect in every way.
Thank you Lord for today. For one beautiful month with our daughter. While we will raise her Lord we know she is yours. You simply entrusted us to raise her in your ways. Thank you for trusting us and choosing us to be the parent's of Faith. She has brought us more love and joy than we could have ever imagined. We promise to love her and raise her in your ways Lord all the days of our life.
