Like every other holiday no matter how big or small a part of me always is missing home and thinking about what we would be doing if we were back in California! I was so thankful we had such fun plans with fun friends for Valentine's Day this year! Definitely made the day a little easier to get through!
We finally found a mom group we LOVE and yesterday they had plans to have a Valentine's Party at J.W. Tumbles! We had been there once before and Faith was still a bit to little to really enjoy it but this time girl was a little monkey! Climbing and swinging and having a ball!
I seriously could not get over my joy yesterday! Watching her be completely in her element and so happy ( and so well behaved might I add) just made my heart swell!
Faith had a blast climbing...
Bouncing...
Sliding...
and getting her face painted
OK maybe not that last one :)
But she did love ziplining...
and parachuting ( the kid friendly kind that is)
and building...
I'd say we have quite an adventurer on our hands!
After JW Tumbles we all headed to McDonalds for a special lunch treat and enjoyed playing outside in this beautiful weather and having fun with friends!
Afterwards Faith and I swung thru the drive thru for an ice cream on our way home and stayed outside and played at the park for a while longer. Faith was just the best yesterday and being so cute!
She very much enjoyed her ice cream...
and giving Mommy kisses thru the glass...
She enjoyed relaxing...
and being silly...
Eventually we made our way inside to open our Valentine Cards from our new friends and then she remembered how much she loves chocolate and discovered the joy of a dark chocolate kiss...until Mommy only allowed her to have one and then she wasn't really a happy camper.
But then she remembered Grandma and Grandpa had sent her a card so she had some fun tearing into it and contemplating what to do with her gift
And then we took a nap! No pictures of that cuz I would never risk the possibility of waking her from a nap just to get a picture :)
Then Daddy came home with roses we had dinner and baths and lots of hugs and kisses for all!
We really did have a GREAT GREAT Valentine's Day!
I am so thankful for the love my husband and I share. A love that isn't shown only on special occasions but every moment of every day. A love that is shown in the simple things like washing the dishes or making breakfast or even volunteering to change the poopy diaper. It is a love that has grown and changed and most importantly strengthened in the last 6 years. It is a love that will last FOREVER and I am so thankful to the Lord for blessing my life with that kind of love.
To have and to hold from this day forward
for better or for worse
for richer for poorer
in Texas or California
in sickness and in health
to love and to cherish
all the days of our lives

Love it!
Isabel got a $5 in one card and then the next card she got had nothing (but came in a box of goodies) later she went back to the second card and said "I want some money!" I about fell over laughing at my crazy girl already wanting money in all her cards.
