So today is my last day of some man on man defense around this house.
What am I talking about you ask? Well two kids, two parents, man on man.
I take Faith, Hubby takes Ty or I take Ty, Hubby takes Faith everyone is happy and all our bases are covered.
But tomorrow for the first time Hubby will be at work when we all wake up in the morning.
To say I'm not a little scared would be a lie but I'm not going crazy ( yet ) In fact I feel pretty good and confident and am honestly ready to get rolling in our new routine at home of being a mommy to two little babes.
Also I have to admit I am certainly not alone. We have tons of family and friends so close. My mom, dad, and best friends are all within a 10-15 mile radius and I know at anytime I can call any of them and they would be here in a second to help.
Everything thus far is going wonderful Faith is a huge help and so in love with her little brother. I just can't get over the way she has to kiss him a million and one times a day, how she wants to hold him and feed him and love him. She takes great pride in helping and even helps change his diaper ( and has yet to get pee'd on!) Every once in a while a little jealous streak will come on and she will want the blanket Ty has but if anything she just wants him all to herself! She will say " Faith hold" and she knows she has to go on the couch to hold him. Or the main thing I hear " Mine mine" meaning Ty is her baby :)
So wish me luck as we begin our new normal tomorrow. I'm not naive to think every day will be sunshine and roses but I know I am in a place to know that the hard times don't last and in parenting the joys far outweigh the difficult times.
And if you don't hear from me tomorrow, call in the forces I may need back up.

that is funny that you call it man to man too. Bryan often says that we cant have anymore kids or we will have to chane to a zone defense LOL! Good luck on your first day by yourself. Love ya
You will be just fine! :0) I remember my husband had to go back to work after the weekend for both our girls--so I was left with three all by myself after only 2 days--and we were all sick (except baby), only no family around for us and most of my friends worked during the day or had several kids themselves! ha! Pretty funny to think about now. Enjoy your miracles! I know you will!!!
lol, you'll be just fine. Sounds like you have an awesome little helper there. There are some days with my 2 babies where I want to pull my hair out, but like you said, the joys far outweigh the hard times.
Those pictures are SO SO Cute! I'm so happy for you guys!!!
That picture of her giving him the bottle. That's why I'm okay with having another newborn in the house. I want to see Isabel helping like that and loving every minute of it.
You're going to do great with both kids.
