Happy Birthday America { Part 2 }

Once the parade arrived at the park we got to spend a few hours enjoying all the free activities that they had to offer!

They had free popsicles for the kids

Jolly jumps

Horses to pet ( which by the way the girls on the horses told us they got to perform for Prince William and Catherine when they were in Southern California very cool stuff!)

Donkies

Arts

Crafts

and more popsicles

Where was Tyson and Daddy in all these pictures you may  be wondering?

Taking a  nice nap in the shade of course

We had a wonderful time at the kids festival and then headed out to spend some time at my mom's and let the kids have a nap before fireworks that night!

Our tradition is to  go to our local high school with some of our closest friends and family and set up some blankets on the football field and just have a great night!

Tyson got stuck in Winni's jacket it because it turned out to be pretty cold so yup that's my boy confident in his manhood wearing some pink

I remember the first year Winni went and just how amazing she was and how it was a dream come true holding her while she watched in awe of the fireworks and this year was equally as wonderful. We all had such a great time and and the kids just loved the fireworks. Winni sat next to me literally ooohing and ahhhing and wowing the whole time and Tyson just laid in my lap all wide eyed enjoying every second. I think I saw so little of the actual fireworks because I simply loved just watching my kids take it all in.

I didn't get a great picture of Winni watching the fireworks because of it being so dark but got a few cute ones of Tyson just starring at the fireworks

As expected we had an absolutely wonderful 4th of July and I can't wait to do it all again next year!

And just for fun a Winni comparison of the last few years!
