So yesterday was our big day! IUI number one! We are so praying and hoping this will be last but we know no matter what God makes no mistakes and we are faithful He will provide!
So here's how it went. Went in at 9am for hubby to do his part. So he did his thing and we had our IUI scheduled for 10:15am. They said it would take about 45 minutes to an hour to sperm wash and we could wait there or come back. We decided just to wait there as we already ate breakfast and there wasn't much to do anyways! So the waiting room was absolutely stuffed with people, no extra chairs what so ever. People kept getting called in, more people waited and more people get called. Its like 10:45am by now and I am freaking out. I know sperm don't live forever especially outside of the body. The waiting room kept dwindling down til it was only us. Even the office lady had finished her duties for the day and gone home. I just kept praying for peace and patience. It was 11:15am and I got so teary eyed and told DH " It's just going to be canceled I know it" and two seconds later they called my name. Why did I doubt God? Just crazy I guess. So then the doctor did his duty and it was over in less than 2 minutes. Hubby and I laid there for about 15 minutes just praying and talking. Now I start progesterone today along with my herbs from the acupuncturist. I also have a acupunture appointment on Thursday to help encourage implantation.
Please pray for us that this cycle works. Even though we are receiving free treatment we can barely afford the $500+ a month in meds and emotionally te journey is taking its toll! Please pray for God's will in our life and for the blessing of a baby!
I test on March 7th, which will be 14 dpo, although I am sure by 10 dpo I will test. I can never wait! No one can right ladies?
Anyways thanks for checking in and the well wishes!
