Show and Tell

My first show and tell courtesy of Stirrup Queens! How exciting! Mine might be lame this week only because I'm not quite sure how this all works but none the less here I go!

So this picture is from my weekend getaway with my husband. We drove about 2 hours north to Los Alamos California. Everyone was like " There's nothing to do there" I said " Yes that's exactly the point!" I needed a vacation from school and TTC, hubby needed a vacation from work and me talking about TTC so we went to a amazing bed and breakfast in Los Alamos called The Vick. Its the cutest little place with 6 themed rooms! They have 50's ( which we stayed in, Cadillac bed and all) a Gypsy room, french room, egyptian room ( where the bath room is secretly located behind King Tut). It was so wonderful to have no TV, only themed movies ( ours was Grease) and a game of Monopoly. We went in our personal hot tub and walked across the street to grab a fresh local ingredient pizza. It was the best pizza ever! Then went back to our room to relax and enjoy the rest of the night.

The next day we just had a bunch of little things planned, a ostrich farm where you can feed the ostriches, a beautiful lavendar field with acres of beautiful lavendar, and a mini horse ranch! So this is the picture. Me and the mini horse that loved hubby and I. As soon as I walked up to the fence he walked right over to me! It was so cute! He obviously loved my hubby too because he posed for many pictures with him as well!

We had the best most relaxing getaway. I know we both needed it and we both feel so refreshed and more ready for the week to come!

So there you have it! My first of many show and tells!

Ah sometimes it is nice to go to those Nowhere places and reconnect. Not a boring show and tell at all

I agree with Fertillized, going to a place where's nothing is alway the best place to be.

I'm glad to hear that your weekend was nice and relaxing. What a cute mini horse. :)

Glad you had a great time! Sounds like it was relaxing. And I looooove mini horsies! So cute! If I could just make a vacation of petting zoos, I'd be a happy camper.
