Thank you all so much for the advice and recommendations on everything from her spitting up, to her eye, to sleeping books!
To fill you in:
The soy formula is helping a lot. But what is helping even more is stopping her feeding every 3-5 minutes to burp her. I think she thinks she is so hungry she gulps a whole bottle then spits half of it back up! But if we just take it out of her mouth, burp her, the go back to feeding it all stays down! Also thank to some awesome advice from my cousin in Texas we keep her sitting up for about 20-30 minutes post feeding and that really helps too! She is also now sleeping on an incline so hopefully all these things will help it continue getting better and better!
Her eye is already better just from massage and a warm compress. I didn't want to take her out to get the drops yesterday because she was fussy so I will do that today but I am glad it's already getting better.
And we talked to the Dr. about her sleeping and she basically said for the first month do what Faith needs. Don't try strict schedules, just do little things, make the days bright and normal and the nights dark and quiet so she can learn night day but she said right now she needs to be sleeping a lot day and night. So for now that is what we will do.
We did get some great book recommendations and we are going to go with Happiest Baby on The Block and Baby 411. We Youtubed " Baby on the Block" stuff and tried some with her already and it worked like a charm. And Baby 411 was recommended by a blogger friend who I think I would have a ton in common with in real life and I liked some of the theories it spoke of.
Baby Wise which many did recommend also seemed great! I did some research on it and don't know if its for us...with the whole bonding thing we don' t know if it would be a good fit for our family, but time will tell and thank goodness for libraries where I can go crazy and get ALL the books :)
And because I can never post without a picture of video again....

Yay! Glad you liked happiest baby on the block. I definitely am going to try that out once my little guy arrives. I've heard good things about it from other bloggers too. =)
I'm so glad she's doing better already!! She is SUCH a doll...sounds like you're a wonderful mommy already!! :)
p.s. here's a good video of a dad using the techniques describe in the book:

So glad to hear little Faith is doing great!
Your doc is right, just follow her cues, she will set her own schedule. Habits don't really form until 4-6 months so don't worry about spoiling her!
Babywise didn't fit our family. I know it is a very controversial book but I think it is ok to take some things from it! The best tool though is your mommy instinct. You will know if something just doesn't feel right.
Your daughter is precious. Thanks for posting so many pictures!
Yay! I love Faith updates!!! She is just the cutest!
Glad she is feeling better!! Oh, and I love the pic of her little feet...so cute!
aww she is so cute:) Glad you were able to get a good book to help you out.
I second LL: Your best tool is your mommy instinct. Books and friends and family are great, but ultimately, you're the only one who knows your daughter and your family. You might be new at this, but your heart will show you the way, each and every time.
Also -- I'm getting a huge kick out of watching baby gear take over your house. Isn't it hilarious how that happens?!? :)
oh gosh! She looks so big in her bassinette :)
Congratulations...such a beautiful story!
Congrats!!! I haven't been here in a while because Little Bug keeps me busy!
Try swaddling with a Miracle Blanket. It worked wonders for Little Bug. She went from not sleeping more than 2-3 hours to 5 hour stretches at night! It really works!
