Thankful

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving day. We had so much to be thankful for and my heart was just overwhelmed every time I looked at Faith. We have a daughter. A perfect healthy beautiful daughter who is so incredibly loved not just by her mommy and daddy but by her whole family! Being the first grandchild is something so special and maybe that adds to why everyone loves her so much but watching everyone love on Faith and be so thankful for her made my heart swell with pride. It was a wonderful day! We celebrated with lots of family! My aunt and uncle hosted the day, also there was my mom, dad, step dad, step sister, her friend, my uncles niece, her husband and there little girl and my uncles mom. It was a wonderful group and we had such a great time! I literally felt sick because I ate so much! It was so delicious I couldn't help myself! Faith, like the perfect angel she is, slept through the whole meal and woke up about 5 minutes after we finished. We just spent lots of time with family, watched football, went around the table and said what we were thankful for ( can you guess what I said?) and of course ate lots of yummy food!

I hope you all had a beautiful thanksgiving day as well!

Also many people have been opening up to questions about their adoption or about themselves in general so I would like to do the same. If you have any questions about anything please feel free to ask! I don't know if I even have enough readers to do this but why not :)

Happy Monday!

This was so funny cuz we were taking a million pictures and she just tumbled over and this is the picture that came out :)

Umm those pictures of faith in her little Turkey shirt are so stinking cute! I love it!
I'm so glad you guys had such a great Thanksgiving.
Also I think its great that you are willing to answer questions and talk with other women who are possibly going to adopt. I know that when I adopt one day I would love to have someone to help me to understand the entire process. You have a beautiful family.

I don't think I have ever commented on your blog before but I just wanted to say how beautiful sweet Faith is! Yes all babies are cute :) But she is stunning!

Do you have any contact with Faith's birth parents? Is that by choice?

I just love reading about your sweet family! Happy Holidays!
