Behind Yet Again

OK I am behind...again BUT guess what? Sunday night I wrote my last paper and am now officially done with college! My graduation will be on January 30th and I could not be more excited! I took the long road when it came to college, changed my major about 18 times and now after 7 years of homework and finals looming over my head I am done! This has certainly been a great year for us!

So that being said I have time to blog again instead of writing papers :)

So I'll just recap a couple days last week and save the weekend for tomorrow!

So Wednesday and Thursday night Faith didn't sleep, at all. She had no more than a 1 hour stretch for 48 straight hours. It was horrendously hard! I do honestly truly think she is teething. Or at least beginning to. I have heard they can teeth months before any teeth show up and teething at almost 4 months is not completely unheard of. She has every sign of teething possible so I guess only time will tell but man were those days hard!

Despite getting no sleep Thursday night we were determined to have a great day on Friday. Friday morning my dear friend *M* invited us out with some of her mommy friends to go to a horse ranch! I don't have a lot of picture but it was such a wonderful time with wonderful people! We just walked around looking at all the horses and enjoying the beautiful day ( 80 degrees in December!) and watching the kiddies have a blast! Faith was the littlest one as the other babies were all around 18 months so they really had a great time!

After that we met one of my best friends, Ericka, for a pizza lunch and as usual got about a million comments on how beautiful Miss Faith is. I swear that never gets old :)

After that we went to my moms so I could work on some homework while Faith spent some time with Grandma. She very much wanted to be held all day ( Faith that is, not Grandma) so I put my mom in the B.jorn and Faith was a happy girl!

After that we went to see Papa Dale and spent some time at his house and even though Faith hadn't slept in forever she loved her time with her Papa! Faith also got her Christmas card from Papa and here she is reading it :)

And finally we ended the night at a local coffee shop with some friends A & A ! It was so nice just listening to Christmas music, surrounded by some wonderful new friends and taking it all in.

I am a mom this year for Christmas and I don't think it has hit me yet! Everyday more and more I just step back in awe of what God has done in our lives. We are so deeply blessed and there is nothing in the world Santa can put under the tree that would make me happier than this perfect Christmas gift already under our tree!

Oh yeah I forgot to tell you we have a rolly poley on our hands here! I don't mean like on accidental one or an assisted roll either! Faith is a rolling machine! The second you lay her down on her back she rolls over so fast! This is the best video I Got of her in action.

It's an amazing thing when you're done with classes. I finished my paralegal cert courses last December; I spent the month afterward feeling rather unaccomplished as I didn't have to race here, finish that, make this presentation.

And I get the Christmas amazement. I'm loving it!!

Enjoy!

Congrats on finishing your degree!! What an accomplishment! You may be right about Faith teething...I was always told that the teeth forming in the gums can be painful. Maybe that's what she's experiencing? And i LOVE the picture of faith under the tree! She IS the best present this Christmas!!

Congrats on finishing!

Shelby teethed for about two months before any teeth showed up. She started at around 4 mos and about 6 mos 2 teeth popped up.

Love the pics.

Yay Faith. She is so absolutely beautiful. I love the pics with her by the Christmas tree. Sorry to hear about the non sleepy night. I think Cooper is teething also. So I know how you feel.
I hope she sleeps better.
