Rainy Day MIsh Mosh

Yes I live in Southern California where it never rains. Except this week and apparently we're making up for lost time because it has been pouring for days with a few exceptions. Yesterday when there was a break in the rain my mom and I decided to bundle up Faith and go on a short walk. Half way thru the clouds opened and it poured on us! Don't worry Faith was perfect, dry and sleeping but my mom and I were soaked! It was pretty funny though and I just kept wondering what all the cars driving by were thinking :)

Just a note to everyone too, I changed my profile name to Just Believing ( previously it was Blessed) and also changed the picture to a picture of the 3 of us! Daddy, Mommy and our Faith baby!

On January 30th not only do I walk the line for my graduation but hubby and I have been asked to speak at our adoption agencies seminar! We are so honored, excited and blessed! We speak so highly of them as we had such a wonderful experience and we are so happy we chose them to help us start our family! I could go on and on but I won't I'll just say we are so excited to share our story with a room full of hopefully families! We honestly sat in that meeting in June 2009 and look where we are now? It's a beautiful miracle indeed!

And some sad news, in our area a newborn baby girl was found outside a house in some rose bushes. :( She was alive and is currently in the hospital but it seems she is full term and doing well. How my heart just wants to go to the hospital and take her home!!! And how I wish I could have met the woman who gave birth to her before she left her in the rose bushes! It's stories like this that frustrate the heck out of me! Pray for this precious baby if you don't mind.

And now what we do on rainy days in California. If you listen carefully you can hear Faith laughing. You just hear me a lot louder :)

Hah, Your funny. No the person who left the weird comments on my blog was definitely not you. It wasn't one of my followers. There were 3-4 different comments left in the past year that were strange and they were all from different people. But every one of them when I went to their page had no blog posts. It was just strange and creeped me out!

I haven't read this post of yours yet, I just wanted to send you this so you knew its definitely not you I'm talking about. :)

Now I'm going to go read this post and comment again on that.

Faith is just sooo cute!!
Sorry to hear you got rained on. But I'm glad you got home safe and sound.

Also the story about the baby in the rose bush, horrible! Breaks my heart. I can't even begin to imagine. That person should go to jail forever.

The baby story makes me sick!!! Last I heard (which sounds like you did too) is that the baby is safe and the NICU nurses were taking good care of her and that they had named her!
It also made me sick because someone sent me a text message saying.. "that might be your next baby"
i hate that some people think like that. oh well!
Faith seriously gets cuter by the day!

I did a LA turn the other day and it was downpouring. Then on Wed I was suppose to do another one but it canceled. Not sure if due to weather or not. But the ground crew on Monday said that they were sick of all the rain.

Faith is adorable. She is getting so big!

You are gonna be great for the seminar! They were so good with us too. The only negative was that S and her SW didn't communicate very well/get along. But I thin the SW is no longer at the agency.

We may be coming to LA at the end of Feb! I will email you and let you know the dates!

We are also getting a lot of rain (I LOVE IT)-my state is below yours! :)

That woman makes me sick. The BM on my blog that I'm talking about "J" is also considering abandoning her baby rather than placing her son for adoption and it makes me sick. Here I am ready and willing to adopt her child but she rather abandon him because it is easier for her.

I didn't know it was possible but she keeps getting cuter every day! Your story is going to be great for others to hear.
