10 Months Old July 4th 2010

Faith please tell me how it can be that you are TEN MONTHS OLD ?!?

You are around 25 inches and weigh in at 19.2 lbs! You are in the 30th percentile for height and weight. You are mama's itty bitty beautiful girl!

You still are wearing size 3 diapers and as for clothes you wear anything between a 3 and 9 month depending on the brand!

You have 6 teeth now! 2 on the top and 4 on the bottom! You love those little chompers and often use them to get into things. For example you love using your bottom teeth to pop open the Puff's can! You are also pretty tricky now as you will be going in for a moochie and then decide you want to bite! OUCH! We'll have to start working on the differences between a love bite and a real bite!

You are still eating everything! Grandma loves to give you lots of things I wouldn't but as long as they are safe then I secretly really don't mind. In fact I think its pretty darn cute to watch you eat a french fry or try ice cream!

Faith you are into everything! It made packing rather hard because mommy and Grandma packed and you unpacked! Its really fun though to watch your little mind work and try to figure things out!

You also love doggies, dancing, and being in the water! You just stare intently every time a doggie walks by and you get so excited if you actually get to touch one! You also start groovin to the beat anytime music comes on! You even dance when Mommy sings to you!

You love being a big girl so much and you can already drink thru a straw even! You love drinking sweet tea with Grandma!

You are the absolute joy of our lives and so little yet so much has happened this month!

First and foremost you are "officially forever" sweet girl! Just 2 days before you turned 10 month the Judge pronounced you as our forever beautiful baby girl! It was one of the happiest days of our lives! A day we had waited so long for and it was everything we prayed it would be!  After the court ceremony we h ad a big BBQ celebration and Faith you would not believe the amount of love for you! You are so loved by so many and nothing made my heart happier than seeing all the people who had been praying you would come to us celebrate the fact that you were officially forever!

At your party you had your first go round with some cake! You are such a champ and after a little bit of help from mommy and daddy you went in for the kill! See you definitley take after your mama there :)

Another big moment or should I say moments is that you are walking Faith! Yes at the young age of 10 months you are already a full fledged walker! You will now choose to walk instead of crawl and you also prefer walking to being carried! I just cry everytime I see you walking because it makes me realize how fast you are growing! This video is when you really started talking more and more steps now you are walking like crazy!

Outside of those major events this past month has been rather slow. We have spent lots of time packing boxes as we are moving to Austin Texas! Daddy got a new job out there and we are soooo excited but right now Daddy is out there all alone working waiting for his 2 favorite girls to join him. So you and mama and Grandma have been extra extra busy packing boxes and preparing for this giant move!

We did manage to sneak in some fun though in between all the packing. We went to the zoo with some friends for the first time, we went to a local farm, and even dug out some of Mommy's old toys that you just love!

We also celebrated Daddy's first father day but sadly Dada was in Austin and we were in California! We made it up by celebrating with Daddy on the 4th of July

but we did enjoy some time with both your Grandpa's!

Oh yes you are also in your big gril car seat now! Mommy had a very hard time deciding which one to get as safety is most important and it was so hard to pick but we eventually went with the Evenflo Momentum which goes to 40 lbs rear facing and up to 65 forward facing! You seem to love it!

Faith it is so hard to believe that in just 2 months you will be a whole year old! But today I will just enjoy you being 10 months old and thank God for the wonderful gift that you are to our whole family! We love you Faith more than anything we have ever known!
