Wisconsin Part 2

A while ago if you remember I posted about part 1 of our Wisconsin trip here. I completely forgot about part 2 so here it is :) A little late but I had it drafted up a while ago so enjoy!

( Lots of pictures but not to much to read so check it out ;)

So Greg’s parents had the great idea that instead of doing Christmas gifts for everyone we would instead take a family vacation to a water park in The Dells! Every one thought this was such a great idea and seeing how great it all worked out I hope we do it again and again.

We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge which was AMAZING! Also in WI they have lots of indoor water parks so the water park was connected with our hotel! We had such a great time with everyone and its one of the rare times EVERYONE gets together and what better place then at a water park!

We spent much of the days racing the nephews down water slides and sitting in the wave pool with Faith. Having so many adults around everyone got to enjoy the rides because there was always someone to keep an eye on the kids ( 7 total ranging from 4 months to 12 years old)

Our second day at the water park my cousin J drove 3 hours just to come see us! OK lets be honest she came to meet Faith :) But that’s ok because J is the best!

That day we decided to do some touristy things outside of the water park with my cousin and other BIL and SIL. So we went to basically like a hands on zoo which the highlight by far was this…

Feeding the giraffes was so cool! We got so many fun pictures and it was amazing how big their heads were! Faith wasn’t to sure but I also think it was a combination of being hot and slightly tired too. ( Be warned a million giraffe pictures ahead)

The mini zoo also had lots of photo ops

After leaving the mini zoo my cousin left to head back home and the family went out to pizza dinner where Faith enjoyed playing with her cousins and hanging out under the high chair.

The next and final day at the water park we spent as  much time as we could doing every there before heading back to Hubby’s home town to complete our trip.

Our last 3 days we spent in his home town relaxing and not doing too much. We spent some more time with his siblings and nephews, saw a movie and met up with some old friends. Oh yeah and we of course played wit Sparkles!

Saturday we headed home on a later flight which was a horrid idea because after 2 hours Faith was so tired and screamed like crazy because she couldn’t get comfortable to sleep so most of the flight was doing our best to keep her from crying. Honestly she probably cried like 30 minutes but it seemed like the whole plane ride!

None the less we got home safe and sound completely unaware all the exciting changes to come!

Do people tell you all the time that she looks just like your husband?? I think she definitely does! My adopted nephew also looks just like his dad! And my adopted niece really favors my sister. I think it's so neat!
