How sad it makes me to not even have time to get around to these most special post about my Faith baby! Since she is now 16 months old going on 17 and its hard to remember what exactly happened when I have been keeping small notes of new things she is doing and saying and milestones we are hitting but I have decided to combine her 15 and 16 month post so here goes nothing!

My sweet Faith you are weighing in just over 23 lbs and are about 30 inches tall! You are long and lean and so I love to just look at you and I can only imagine how beautiful you are going to be! You are now the most beautiful baby every but I can only imagine when you turn 16! Daddy better be ready to chase all those boys away!
You are wearing size 4 diaper and are fitting into your 18 month clothes now! You can still get away with some 12 month clothes, like pajamas but 18 fits you much better and with those long legs of yours 12 month pants are just too short for you!
You no longer take bottles anymore and are such a big girl with your sippy cup! We started the transition small by taking bottles away during naps and then one night mama filled up a bottle with milk and a sippy cup of milk. I offered you both and you took the sippy cup and that was the last we have used a bottle! You transitioned so well and we are so proud of you buggie!
You can talk so much now! You know all the parts of your face and some of your body. You know your nose, eyes, ears, tongue, teeth, hands, feet, toes and more! You know your animals and the sounds like make! I think my favorite one is when you try to do fishie lips! It is beyond adorable! I also love when you see if doggie you make a little " fffaaaa" sound with your lips which is your version of " woof". You also LOVE to say " hot" everything is "hot" to you! And you say it so cute!
You understand so much now! Daddy ask you to put your shoes away and you know right where they go! You are mommy's little helper too and help me a lot with laundry and dishes! You understand when we ask if you want a bath and you run to the bathroom and also tell us when you want to go to bed by running to the fridge and grabbing your Ellie!
In these past couple months you have celebrated your second Thanksgiving and Christmas! We spent thanksgiving at cousin Tina's ranch and Christmas back in California!
Our flight to California was your 10th flight! Can you believe you have flown almost a dozen times in just 16 months? I am so happy to say you are a wonderful little traveler too and I hope that you always are!
While in California you met 2 very special people. One being Santa Clause and the 2nd being your birth mother Star! It was a wonderful beautiful meeting. I loved seeing how much you looked like her! She was just as beautiful as we had seen in pictures and it was a beautiful time where the two women in the world who love you only the way a mother can came together to share in the beautiful life that you are!

You have been sleeping so much lately I think it has something to do with the winter months but I have to say I don't mind a bit! You are waking around 9:00am or later and I think its pretty awesome! You are also going to bed a little later but its nice that you get to spend more time with Daddy when he gets home from work!
A big milestone is also the fact that you now make it through church nursery on Sunday's! It took several weeks but most recently when we went to pick you up and came to the door you looked at us and ran the other way to play with your friends! You are growing up so fast!
Things you love these past couple months, is pretend play ( including your new kitchen)

doing puzzles which you can do all on your own, coloring,
putting on mommy and daddy's shoes,
putting on oven mits,
and Cherry Sonic Slushes.

I could go on and on about all the things you do and have learned these past two months but I'll stop for now!
We love you Faith more than words can say!

She is getting so big. Its so great to see her grow in front of our eyes but also sad to see how fast our babies are growing.
She is such a beautiful sweet little girl. She always seems to be so happy. I can see that she brings you so much happiness and joy :)
She is just too cute for words!!! It is amazing how early some kids talk, and O SO fun!!!! :) I hope she is a little chatter box like my girls, it makes for really fun car rides and really keeps you laughing all day long!! :)
God, I love her sweet face! Her personality shines through her photos. I love the one in the bathtub. I can't wait to see her in pig tails...I don't know why, I want to see that! :)
She sure does have long & pretty eyelashes! Man...better not bat those @ those boys or Daddy {much like my Husband} is getting ready to take care of those boys, lol.
Time is just flying by. I remember when you brought her home! You two are just so sweet :)
p.s. I'll be heading to Austin weekly starting in Feb for Vivian's appointments, so maybe we can meet up!
