Sunday Funday { Family Style}

Sunday we decided a much needed family day was in order. Since moving to Texas weekends usually consist only of breaks. One of the weekend days Hubby lets me sleep in and then we switch. Its really the only time we get even a teeny tiny break but this past Sunday we knew we wanted a nice family day out together!

We started our morning off at Chuck E Cheese which was a big hit...with the Hubby and me at least! Faith just enjoyed wandering around holding tokens and putting them into machines while Mommy and Daddy had a lot of fun playing all the games! Don't worry we let Faith have her turn too :)

Once we put a token in the monster truck she immediately wanted out.

After Chuck E Cheese we went to a Bounce House. Let me tell you my girl loves her some bouncing! There seem to be a million of these things in this city and Faith loves every single one. We usually go to this one because its  free for kids under 2! What better deal can you ask for?

Everything in life is worth it to see this girl smile

As you can see she is fearless on the slides. This happened to be the small slide but you can put the girl on a 20 foot slide and she loves that too!

 After the bounce house we went out to a pizza buffet and had a delicious and fun meal!

We came home for naps and some relaxation before ending the day with a family walk! As soon as Faith saw the camera out she stopped to pose for me and say " Cheeeeeeeeeeese!"

Look Daddy an ant!

Daddy did ya see it?

But wait look over there its a............

CAT!

And from there she followed the cat every where. She even slightly chased it under the car and then got really mad and yelled at it to come out from other the car! It was so cute!

And some more following of the cat before heading back to the park.

It was such a wonderful day! It brought back so many feeling of normalcy that we had in So Cal and we look forward to many more family days ahead in our future. I love how it is on those days most that I see Faith at her best. Smiling and so full of love and joy and it makes me feel so happy and fortunate to know she will always have a life full of love and plenty and plenty of family days with her Mama and Dada!

Love all the pictures, looks like you guys had a great day! Faith is such a cute little girl- I love her face when she was coming down the slides.

I also love your post below because, I don't know, maybe its because I felt so lonely my first year of motherhood and felt like no one ever reached out to me. I think everyone gets so busy with their own thing that we forget to reach out to a new mom in town or just a new mom overall. Your post is a reminder that we need to stick together. Im going to think of someone and reach out to them soon!

Awww, you all look SO happy! I can't wait until my little ones can enjoy days like that with us:). So glad you are feeling a little more settled, at least on family days. I have been in our town for over 3 years and still feel alone and out of place sometimes, but it does get better and I feel MUCH more at home now than I did a couple of years ago. Hang in there!
