And just like that we are back in the swing of things again here in Texas!
Yesterday I woke Faith up at ten ( mind you that is eight in CA) and she woke up with a little cold but we got together for our typical Wednesday playdate at the park with our friends. Faith was so happy to see her little buddy and her little buddy was so happy to see Faith! It was adorable and Faith totally recognized them too when we got to the park!
The girls played so well together and at one point Faith was taking off her buddies shoes and putting them back in her! It was so freakin adorable and of course neither of us mommies had our phone on us to record it but the girls were so sweet together today and we had a great time!
Then today we really had no plans so we decided to go to the Splash Pad. It was funny because it looked like such a yucky day out and we did get rained on but it doesn't really matter when your at the splash pad anyways prepared to get wet! Faith stayed close to Mama even though she normally LOVES the water she does not like getting her face wet! And the unpredictable pattern of the water didn't really excite her so she stayed close and put her hands in every once in a while.
Tomorrow we will be going to the pool with our mom group and I am so happy to call so many women in this mom group my friends! This is my favorite group by far and I again I am so happy to be able to call many of them my friend! The pool will def feel nice this time of year as we are already in the mid 80's and its only going up from there so we're really looking forward to some time in the pool with friends! Then we have a couple birthday parties in the next few weeks and well needless to say we are back in the swing of things!
One very cute story today Faith had some banana chips while in her car seat and I kept hearing her say " bite bite" thinking she was offering me a bite. So I'm like " Thank you baby Yum yum!" After the 100th time she said it I look back and this is what I saw.

See that little dot to the left? Yeah that's the fly she was offering the bite too!
