Oh man what a CRAZY couple days it has been around here!
Tuesday started off with the vomit brigade in Faith's crib I told you about. Well it wasn't food poisoning cuz I got a call the next day from Ty's photographer that her and her little were also sick :( I swore it had to be coincidence until a few hous later I was sick and then around 4am Hubs was sick. Literally we passed this thing around like CRAZY! Thursday the Hubs and I were so sick I had to call my mom to come get the kids because I was petrified of Ty getting it. Faith obviously had it out of her system but we were so sick and in so much pain we could barely walk so the kids went off to my mom's for the night. I felt so bad but knew it was the right thing for everyone.
Friday at 5 o'clock was a big moment for us though. Not only were we feeling better but Ty officially became our little guy. All papers were signed and irrevocable. It was a beautiful feeling although my heart can honestly say I wasn't worried. I knew this little man was meant to be our son from the moment we met his birth mother. She even texted to tell us everything was signed and tell how how grateful she was for us. We just love her in a way that is so undescribable. I hope one day in the future we see her again.
Ty is doing awesome! He is growing so much and getting bigger! He is having his 2 week growth spurt because let me tell you he is eating 3 oz or more and often times only 2 hours in between feedings. Makes for very long hard night but I am thankful to have a grat partner in my husband who helps so much and carries more than his share of the team. Still very hard on us both but just remind ourselvs its only a phase and this too shall pass.
Outside of that all is well in the house. We got Ty's room painted yesterday and Faith is continuing her crazy love of her little brother.
Life is full, life is good, life is blessed!
