Christmas Tree Time

Even though Winni is probably a little young to remember traditions quite yet I love that this year she gets so much of Christmas and Baby Jesus and Santa and all the wonderful things that go along with the holidays!

I am easing our way into making our own traditions some  ideas I have I'm hanging onto for next year  but some we begun this year like cutting down our Christmas tree!

Winni's first Christmas we went to Home Depot for our tree, while fun I wouldn't quite call it a tradition. For her second Christmas we were actually in Austin but spent our Christmas in California so we didn't even get a tree that year so this year for Winni's 3rd and Tyson's first Christmas I wanted so  badly to get the whole expirience and cut down our tree and while it was a lot of work ( for Greg mainly) we had such a great time!

They had a petting zoo, Santa Clause of course, face painting, horse rides, and a pretty awesome choice of trees to choose from.

We started off visiting the petting zoo

And then Winni decided she wanted a horse ride. This girl loves her some horse rides!

And here's a little look back at this years adventures in horse riding

Then for the first time Winni got her face painted! I had no idea if she would actually do it because the first and last time we tried to paint her face she was having none of it but this time she loved it! She kept saying    " Ah- tickles!" She picked out a purple snowflake and just had the sweetest smile on her face the whole time!

Then we played on the mini haystack for a little with Dada

Then came my favorite part! Nope not picking a tree but posing my gorgeous children for pictures!  I know your thinking " Where's Tyson ?" He's coming trust me ( I may have taken over 200 pictures )

Yes I know I am blessed ! :)

Then we went on stage to dance with dada

took a time out to feed Tyson

and of course take more pictures

Yes we did eventually cut down a Christmas tree ... and because this post is getting to long with too many pictures I'll save our actual tree chopping adventure for tomorrow!
