As I mentioned last post we did actually cut a tree down at the tree farm! It was such a great place and we seriously could have chosen any tree there and been completely happy with it all! In fact it was made rather hard because there were so many great trees! My goal more than finding a tree was not losing Winni in all the trees! She just took off every chance she got!
But from time to time decided she needed a break!
And then we found IT! Our tree! Winni and Daddy had to get low to make sure it was good from top to bottom!
And then the chopping began!
Winni was very into it and kept asking " Daddy doin?"
And then just as the tree fell over Daddy let Winni help out finishing the chopping of our tree
While Daddy hauled the tree to be netted and pay for it Mommy Winni and Tyson took a tractor ride around the farm ( I was wearing Tyson this whole time thats why I don't have picture :(
Cute tractor ride story: Everytime we would pass a bush Winni would say " Bear!" like she was seeing a bear in the bushes. Eventually she " caught a bear" in her hands and sat it next to her on the tractor. Then she proceeded to hold he bears hand while we walked to the car where Daddy was strapping the tree on. She literally was holding her hand out in the air like she was holding her bear friends hands. Then a truck drove past us and she immdiatley put her hands on her head and said " Oooohhhhh Noooooooo! Bear runned over! Poor bear, I save you!" It was beyond adorable and I just love her little imagination!
Our tree all loaded up on the car with kiddies inside
Daddy had to strap the tree around the car doors so we had to crawl in the windows ! Good times good memories!
And after lots of hard work from Daddy we got the tree home set up ! It stayed undecorated for a couple days but we evevtually got to decorating it and it came out beautifully as you will soon see!
