What A Weekend!

So the Consignment sale wasn't to bad. Bought 2 little girl outfits only because they were two of the cutest dresses ever and I needed to buy them. Really I needed them I swear! :) But all in all it was a really small sale maybe 2 other families there and nothing to rough. Funniest moment of the day...there was a woman there who taught baby sign language. As I was looking at a crib mobile I was talking to my mom, something about "my baby" so this lady as she introduces herself says "oh are you expecting?" Now I wasn't mad at all. One would think I am seeing that I am talking about "my baby" and at a kids consignment sale and I said " Oh no we are actually looking to adopt" and the lady said " Oh that's great." And slowly walked away. LOL I thought it was pretty funny. I know she felt bad but really it wasn't a big deal, it's not like she rubbed my belly and said " Due any day now I see" now that would be a BIG DEAL!
Today was my best friend's little one's first birthday party. I was super excited to go as 1) she is my best friend and 2) I have seen A* grow up since the day he was born. I was at the hospital the day he was born and have seen him almost every week since! So off to Gymboree we went. It was super cute and I had never really been inside one or seen what went on and how they were ran. It was a super cute day and the leader did the cutest little activities with the kids including bubbles, silly songs and a visit from Jimbo the pop up clown ( sounds scary I know but the kids loved it LOL) There was probably about 12-14 little ones there giggling and crawling and laughing and honestly I was OK. I loved watching how cute they were and how much they loved the giant parachute but for whatever reason out of no where I just watched a little family and the complete love and adoration they had for their little girl and I came close to losing it. My hubby was there to lean on and I got a little teary eyed but was able to keep it together fairly well. I really wanted to cry but my bf came up and was so sweet talking to me and encouraging me. Between her and my hubby being so wonderful I was able to fight the tears and just enjoy the cute factor of all that was going on around me.
So all in all we had a nice weekend. Hubby has been feeling pretty crappy lately. He works so hard so I think on weekend his body gets sick just to force him to rest. But when he's sick he's also extra lovey so I get lots of extra love which I obviously don't mind :)
Anyways adoption meeting Tuesday! I am super duper excited! It's just the local county meeting BUT I feel like we'll learn a lot kinda Adoption 101 I guess and seeing that ( from my understanding) being on the waiting list through the county is essentially free we will most likely go that route as we wait on the Lord and what to do next!
Happy Waiting to us! :)

Glad to hear the consignment sale wasnt too bad and you got a few cute things, who knows maybe you will get a little girl:)

I wish we did live closer so neat you are going to a meeting on Tuesday and we are going on Wednesday we will both have to compare.

For your question-we will not do IVF, just not willing to spend the $ it cost to have no guarantees would rather spend $ to adopt and have a guarantee:)
