Today is our 2nd wedding anniversary! For 2 wonderful years I have been blessed to experience life with my husband by my side. The last 2 years have brought us so many ups and downs. Thankfully more ups than downs but no matter what we were always by one another side providing love and support.
Obviously the biggest "down" we have experienced in the last 2 years has been infertility. And here we are on our 2nd wedding anniversary ready to turn in our adoption profile to the agency and officially become paper pregnant. God is so amazing and I despite the challenges of life and living I couldn't imagine being anywhere else than exactly where I am today and I am so grateful for that.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner last night. We went to a Teppan steak house in town and had a wonderful meal and just a great time together as we do every day. Today I have been filled with so much love for him. As my husband, my best friend and the father of our future children. I couldn't imagine a better person to stand by my side for a lifetime.
And on that note if you've read carefully ;) Our profile is done! We have teeny tiny little changes to make to it but thus far everyone has given us great feedback including our social worker and we should also be online by the end of the week! We couldn't be more excited!
Yet I am suddenly feeling incredibly overwhelmed. Our profile is good, but is it good enough? Are pictures are fun, but are they fun enough? I feel like so much lies in that profile, the words and pictures on those pages will determine who picks us to raise their child. And suddenly, it's hitting me, we are going to become parents. For reals this time... its incredibly exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. And today especially it is hitting me what a huge moment in our life this is.

Please pray for our profile to be exactly what somebody wants and please pray that we can figure out how to get the pictures looking more crisp and clear and not so pix elated :)

This is gonna be a great year for the two of you! You are the third anniversary I have heard of today and my mom is getting married today, a great day for a wedding.

Somewhere out there...God has picked out your baby...and that baby's birth mother is going to see your profile and her breath will catch in her throat and she will think "I found them...these are the people I want raising my baby". I'm sure you all did a wonderful job!!! All the pictures I've seen are absolutly gorgeous!!!
