Our story to Faith Part 2

We woke up on Friday with smiles on our faces and excited to tell our parents the news! Luckily my mom and dads birthday are the 5th and 12th so I knew the perfect way! Get them grandparents cards!
So my dad was first. He came over to the house and I told him to open his card early. He was shocked to say the least. No one could believe it had all happened so fast!
Next I went to my moms ( whose birthday was still 8 days away) and told her to open her card! She fought me telling me it was to early and I was dying in side like " Please open it!!!" so she did and just got a huge smile on her face! " Are you serious?" Again shocked that it had only been 3 weeks!
So everything was great! We called the SW ( social worker) to arrange a phone meeting with the birth mother. We were told the SW was on the other line and would call us back. 5 o'clock came and went so I called and still she was on the other line and would call me back in an hour.
The phone rang at 6pm and SW apologized profusely for being so late " I'm sorry we had a emergency situation and it kinda involves you guys" Hubby and I were on speaker phone together and just looked at each other confused. " Well a woman in ---------------- just had a baby a few hours ago and she chose you and Greg. So if your interested you need to pack your bags and get there ASAP. We don't know any information its just something you'll need to walk into and decide if the situation is right for you."
OH MY GOSH! Had we really just been picked twice in the span of 24 hours?!?!? YES WE WERE! We immediately said yes, packed and drove a couple hours to the hospital. We went in gave our information situation what not and the nurse said " Do you want to see your baby?"
It was so crazy! I was like can we? Should we? Could we?
Biological grandmother did want to meet us real quick so she came out and spoke to us for about 3 minutes and then we were off to see our precious baby girl.
When we first saw her! We didn't know boy girl anything yet just baby!

( I swear I'm not doing this in parts to torture you :) I know I don't usually read LONG blog posts fully and also I have about 5 minutes here and there to quickly write so small parts is good !

I LOVE IT:) I got goosebumps when I read this story!! It is just like Sierra..was the drive to the hospital the most crazy hours of your life!?!?!?! My husband I just kept talking and then we wouldn't say anything and then just be like is this for real...and then it would get quiet!! To much fun! Our children have such great stories!:)

OMG...please tell me you're going to get another baby in October!!!!!! How amazing would that be?!?!?!?!? And I thought 5 1/2 months was close together! Yours would be like 1 1/2 months apart!!! I can't wait for part 3!!!
