Faith and I were beyond blessed to meet a dear blogger friend this weekend! *L* over at " My Heart is Already There" was in town this weekend with her precious daughter *S* and her hubby! I was so excited to meet *L* and her daughter! We both used A.dop.t He.lp as our agency and are always emailing and everything so finally getting to meet her in person was so amazing!
We decided to meet at the Santa Monica pier and of course it was one of the rare days in California it was raining and freezing! After an awesome lunch at John.ny Ro.ckets and a walk down the promenade we headed to the pier to walk around. Of course we got caught in a nice down pour with our girls so we decided to take a few pictures and then walk back
k to the parking garage to talk and hang out where it was dry!It was such a great day and our friendship couldn't have been more natural. I feel like we could have talked for hours more and if we ever live close to one another I know we will be wonderful friends and our girls would be too! And I thought to myself " Why is it that some friendships come so natural while others seem to take so much work?" and the answer was clear...she gets it. *L* gets it, she gets me, she gets adoption, she gets the unique and wonderful relationship with your daughters birth mother, she gets it all! And I don't have anyone like that in real life. It was wonderful refreshing and I so hope we are able to do it again soon!
Thank you *L* for getting it. For getting me! It was incredibly wonderful to spend time with you and your perfect baby girl!
*S* was such a beautiful happy little girl!!!! Loved her!

JB! We had such a wonderful time! And I found myself a little sad on the airplane ride home because I knew it would be a while before we could see each other again. I kept telling my my husband how it was so nice that you understood. And how it seemed like we had known each other FOREVER!
You got such great pics of our ladies! Soo stinking cute! I know they would be best buds if we lived closer!

We are using them and just matched for a california adoption so I have a lot of questions about the process and what is involved once the baby is born. Hi! I have been following your blog for a while, but this is my first comment. My husband and I are seriously considering adoption right now and we are in the process of looking at our options as far as agencies, attorneys, etc. I was wondering if there was anyway to email you about adopt help or get a little more info about your experience with them. Their website looks great, but I really need to hear first hand what it was like:) Thanks for any help!
