This week started off wonderful with the simple fact that Hubby was home on Monday thus making it all together a shorter week!
After a very family filled weekend together we decided to give each other some alone time on Monday so while Hubby rode his bike Faith and I went to the park and then while I got some me time Hubby and Faith went to the pool and on a nice walk!
Tuesday we went to a local market/playground for some lunch and playtime with some friends! Faith had so much fun just running around playing chase with Sara and Gavin it was adorable to watch them all just running in circles! It was soooo hot out though so eventually we had to call it a day! Thankfully on a drive home it was right on time for some Sonics' Happy Hour! Faith and I enjoyed our new favorite a cherry limeaid! Yummy! Then came home for a nice long nap! If anything good comes out of this heat is that Faith seems to nap much better after a morning playing outside in the heat!
Wednesday we woke up late and took some time cleaning up before figuring out what to do for the day so Faith ate some breakfast like a little lady.
And then helped Mama wash some dishes.
We knew we needed to do something indoors because it was close to 100 degrees so we decided to meet with our friends at the mall and have some lunch and play at the play area! Wednesday must have been Faith's lucky day to because she got 3 FREE rides on this little carousel and loved every single second!
She loved watching the train go by over and over again and waving at all the passengers
Then Faith and Sara went to the play area to run off some steam but Faith lately is obsessed with Sara's baby brother so she chose to just lay next to him and play with him the whole time! Faith is just in love with babies and everytime we tell her we are going to see our friends Sara and Ian she says " Baby hug?" and I tell her " Yes you can give the baby a hug" " Baby tickle?" " yes honey you can tickle the baby too!" She always runs to Ian's mommy's diaper bag to grab his milk when he starts to cry! Is this little girl ready to be a big sister or what ? :)
After some playing we headed out to watch the carousel and head home for nap time!
Today sadly I took no pictures but we had our very first little play date at our home! You see apartment living doesn't really allow big groups of people to come over and hang out and play but our apartment here in TX is rather big and so today we decided to invite Sara, Ian and their mommy over for some play and pool time! It was so sweet to see Faith get so excited to have her friend over! I had her look out the window to see who was here to visit her and she got so excited and ran to the door and started saying " hi hi hi!" We openned the door and saw Sarah and her mommy coming upstairs and Faith was just beyond excited! She was squeeling with excitement and sat at the very top step just waiting! Then she ran in side to show Sara and baby Ian all her toys! This was the part I knew would be a little bit of a challenge because sharing is obviously an issue at this age but in all honestly Faith did pretty well! She had her moments where she wanted whatever Sara touched but we worked it out and all in all it was a lot of fun!
After some play we took the girls to the pool to play a little then came back and made some pizza lunch and cheese sticks and played a little longer before nap time! It honestly made me a little teary eyed to see what a big girl Faith is! She honestly has friends now and to see her get excited to have them come visit her in her home was just so cute!
We got a whole lot of nothing going on tomorrow but if you know me you know we never sit still so I am sure we will either be swimming, at the park, jump house or doing something to make my sweet little girl happy!
Hope you all are having a wonderful week as well!

Very nice blog. The pictures with the comic dialogue were enjoyable and quite amusing. Thanks for sharing
Sounds SO fun! I NEVER get out with 2 infants, I'm so jealous:)! One day I'll get out again! We moved this week - NOT fun! Hope tomorrow is just as awesome as the rest of the week for you:)!
yay Winni having friends over!! :)
I think sharing is esp hard w/ the kid's OWN toys in OWN house...so if she did good there, I think that's quite something!! :))
Sounds like you had a great week! Man, it has been SO hot lately. We can't venture out after 12pm b/c of the heat. So swimming has been our #1 activity, lol
Faith is so funny! I love her little face :)
I've learned to put away the toys Isabel loves most before playdates. Just help avoid some fights.
Love hearing about her with the baby. She'll be a big sister soon.
